Newton, the Garden City, is a close suburb of Boston. Newton is made up of 13 villages within the city. For further information please see: Thirteen Villages of Newton. Newton, by and large is a beautiful and wealthy suburb of Boston. For the years 2003,2004, and 2005 Newton was named the safest city in America based on a report by the FBI. Newton is accessible via public transportation via the MBTA's green line MBTA, coomuter rail, and various buses. Dotted with rolling hills, the Charles River, and a multitude of parks, Newton is a community designed for lover of nature as well as the post urbanite who just needs a little more space to move around, however does not want to be too far from bustling Boston.
